Service Description

Supporting Multilingual Learners in Science Science classrooms offer rich opportunities for multilingual learners to develop academic language while engaging in inquiry, investigation, and critical thinking. This interactive professional development equips educators with practical, research-based strategies to make science instruction accessible, engaging, and rigorous for multilingual learners at all levels of English proficiency. Participants will learn how to scaffold complex scientific concepts without reducing rigor, build academic vocabulary, promote productive student discussions, support reading and writing in science.
