Participants will discover how to create meaningful opportunities for multilingual students to lead in the classroom, school, and community while strengthening communication, collaboration, problem-solving, and self-advocacy skills. Educators will explore strategies for recognizing student strengths, increasing participation, fostering student voice, and developing leadership experiences that build confidence and academic success. Through ready-to-use activities, classroom structures, and leadership frameworks, participants will leave with practical tools to empower multilingual learners to see themselves as capable leaders who contribute meaningfully to their schools, communities, and future careers. This session helps educators move beyond language development by intentionally nurturing the confidence, resilience, and leadership potential that already exists within every multilingual learner.
